چکیده
Background: Surgical treatments for snoring and sleep-related symptoms are invasive, may have complications, inconstant success rates, a significant relapse rate. Methods: We evaluated the effectiveness of non-surgical, non-invasive outpatient 808 nm diode laser treatment. Forty-five patients with sleep disorders were treated an Elexxion-Claros® 50W Diode Laser 808-nm using specific SNORE3 application. The possible presence obstructive apnea syndrome in was diagnosed Polysomnography. Epworth sleepiness scale reported pre- post-laser treatments. Patients classified according to both Friedman tongue position Mallampati classification. During treatment, pain by measured on visual analogue scale. Results: following data improved significantly: loudness snoring, scale, waking up during because dreaming night, dry mouth awakening, daytime sleepiness, tiredness score, degree oropharynx at nose, oropharynx, hypopharynx, larynx classification (p < 0.001). A cessation choking 89% restless legs 83% ≤ 0.005 p 0.025) also noted after All who suffering from headaches upon (10 subjects) complete this phenomenon therapy. Conclusions: treatment is promising procedure not only reducing but raising global quality sleep, statistically reduction AHI, bothersome related apnea. Results sustainable one year post-treatment.

Treatment of lentigines by a novel high power diode laser at 755 nm: a case report
The use of high-power diode laser with a wavelength of 755 nm is an effective and safe method for the correction and partial and/or total elimination of pigmented lesions, specifically solar lentigines. This wavelength has yet not been used in diode lasers to treat solar lentigines. Side effects are the usual ones, including darkening and scab formation. Our patient was a 40-year-old woman of C...
متن کاملA Novel Study on Non-invasive Assessment of Renal Osteodystrophy among Iranian Hemodialysis Patients
Background: Renal osteodystrophy (ROD) is a common bone and mineral metabolism disorder in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). This study aimed to determinate the frequency of the subtypes of ROD and evaluate the diagnostic value of biochemical as the well as radiographic markers for the diagnosis of ROD among hemodialysis patients in Golestan province of Iran. Materials and Methods...
متن کاملParamecium: a promising non-animal bioassay to study the effect of 808 nm infrared diode laser photobiomodulation.
OBJECTIVE Photobiostimulation and photobiomodulation (PBM) are terms applied to the manipulation of cellular behavior using low intensity light sources, which works on the principle of inducing a biological response through energy transfer. The aim of this investigation was to identify a laboratory assay to test the effect of an infrared diode laser light (808 nm) on cell fission rate. MATERI...
متن کاملCharacterization of 808 nm Quasi-constant Wave Laser Diode Arrays
High-power laser diode arrays are used for a variety of space-based laser programs as an energy source for diode-pumped solid-state lasers. Specifically, 1064 nm Nd:YAG lasers require laser diode arrays emitting at a wavelength of 808 nm that operate at quasi-cw peak powers of 100 Watts per bar. Reliability and performance data is needed for these components; particularly for operation in a sat...
متن کاملBone healing effects of diode laser (808 nm) on a rat tibial fracture model.
Low level laser therapies (LLLT) have analgesic, vasodilatory and anti-inflammatory effects. The present study investigated the effects of LLLT with a diode laser (808 nm) device on the healing of the rat tibial fracture. Forty eight, 8-week-old, male Sprague-Dawley rats were used for this study. After creating the tibial fracture model, the animals were randomly divided into laser and control ...
